I meant to include a link to the Lie-Nielsen videos. They're still valid - I'm happy with the results and think they still stand up. But time moves on and I'm sure I've changed either how I carve or how I present it. Books, videos, etc - they're just a snapshot in time... https://www.lie-nielsen.com/nodes/4243/home-education-videos-peter-follansbee

Wonderful! I am hoping to finish setting up shop for the last time next door to our house, then making things, not repairing old things. Your river is much more peaceful than ours. We live on the Shoals of the Ogeechee, which sits directly on the fall line, that point that separates the land from the high point of the seal level in the Mezozoic Era, 251 to 65 million years ago.

Providentially, I am backing up all of your videos on a thumb drive since DVDs, and DVD players, seem to be on the way out. (Maybe one reason I like hand tools is that they have lasting value.) I am just now finishing the Braintree chest video. By the way, I believe the Make a Stool book is my favorite book that have been published by LAP. Really appreciate your work and your laid-back style of teaching.
