It's been years since I split a big log. Thanks for reminding me of the "fun" and the FUN! There is a downed red oak beside my driveway, calling to me every day. Maybe, soon.

Not much white oak here either, I have a devil of a time finding it. My second choice is black oak which is easier to find. Good luck with that log.
