Chest plans closeout sale etc

and video discounts for paid subscribers

Some updates. I hate to add to the commercial onslaught but…I’ve been meaning to do this for quite some time. A close-out sale of some printed plans for a joined chest - and then an update re: 20% discount on videos for paid subscribers here. Otherwise, I’m back to shop work pretty regularly now - including a surprise return to spoon carving. So more posts about that, along with some boxes and a chair underway as well as the ongoing craft genealogy book next week. Today’s post is just fixing some web junk…clicking buttons etc. I stink at it.

Up in the loft I have 30 printed sets of the joined chest plans I developed a couple of years ago. I printed too many and now would like these to go away. I’ve reduced the price and it also includes US shipping (usually ran about $8 or more) - these are now $60 for the set til they’re gone.

Jeff Lefkowitz & I finished these plans in October 2022. His work is impeccable. The plans consist of 6 pages, 24” x 36”. The first four are the chest and its components and joinery, these are drawn by Jeff in his usual detailed and clear images. The last two pages are the carving patterns on the top rail, drawer front and panels, as well as diagrams of the geometry used in the layout for these carvings. Scaled drawings, a stock list and construction details throughout. There’s even some filler showing how to make it as a chest with two drawers, I was able to measure two of those when I did the research about these chests many years ago.

Video series - I’ve done a few series of vimeo-on-demand videos - and have offered those at a 20% discount to paid subscribers here. A reader wrote yesterday asking if that discount still applied - it’s supposed to! (turns out it had expired, which was not my intention) So maybe you’re catching on that this web-business is my least-favorite gig that I have. IF I’ve got it right, the discount applies as follows - sorry it’s so convoluted. There’s 4 of them - and those links to the discounts are below the paywall
