I once got some work for a National Park in Connecticut, making 4 pieces of furniture; 2 chairs and 2 chests. The application process made me crazy and I decided to give up. Sent an email to the person who contacted me and said the forms are too much work, I’m not going to bother. But they wouldn’t take no for an answer. So they spend an hour or more on the phone, talking me through filling out the forms. At which point I got the job. Next thing they wanted was measured drawings for each piece. They might as well have asked me to jump over the moon. I never really learned how to do them. Mine look about like this:
